smartALIGN 1.21 (Build 0074)

• User selectable default for coupling diameter and RPM.
• Unit for RPM is now selectable in RPM or 1/min.
• When a file is saved, the file name is now displayed in the status line on the main screen.
• If a file is not saved under a specific name, it will automatically be given the name "NoName+ date +time" when the device is switched off.
• Sensor Info Version, manufacturing date and serial number of the sensor are shown under menu/setup/sensor info.
• Measurement Averaging setting The selection is now shown with a check mark and confirmed with "OK" in the Menu.
• The arc of rotation is now displayed in the Measure screen in addition to the actual inclinometer angle during measurement.
• Changing from vertical to horizontal move is now possible without re-measuring.
• Spacer shaft coupling Improvement of the tolerance check during "Move".
• The screen scaling in the Move is set to "Auto-scale" by default. It can alternatively be set to "Fixed Scale" from the Move menu.
• Soft foot Measurement is now possible at 90° or 270° plus/minus 20° due to the active inclinometer and automatic adjustment for the actual deviation of the angle.
• Print baudrate is shown when selecting "Report" to confirm the baudrate selection when using the "Printing Tool".

How to check the sensor version? Go to Device Setup, "Sensor info", if it shows a 1.30 or less, then update the sensor.
Questions?

1. Use the Update Tool to load the firmware into the smartALIGN computer.
2. Once FW has been loaded, switch off the smartALIGN, plug in the sensor and the main power and turn it on again.
   At this stage, the program (device) will check the sensor version and suggest an update of the sensor. Confirm the update.
